    We use non-acid-treated gim (dried seaweed, pronounced “gim” or “kim” in Korean) from Jangheung, Jeollanam-do, South Korea, certified organic by both the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the Korean government. Because it is non-acid-treated, it also benefits the marine ecosystem.
